Really useful
Electric knife. It's really useful. I don't have much grip in my hand,so being able to slice meats neatly with minimal effort, is such a bonus.

Kenwood electric knife
I was disappointed with Kenwood electric knife , it was not fit for purpose , the knife functions where working as described but they did not slice through a roast beef or ham, pressure was needed but still didn’t slice , my husband also tried and his hands are stronger , still didn’t slice .

Poor for the price
I had an electric knife for 30+ years and even on it's last cut it was better than this.

Could be better
I found the handle a bit small which put a strain on my finger. Would be better if the power button was operated by the thumb and had an alternative for left or right handed. The blades are not very sharp either.

Not too expensive but blades not very good
It has two lots of blades but they look the same to me. Both have very deep jagged blades which is not very good for cutting meat. Very disappointed with the blades

Shopping at its Best at ARGOS
An excellent product from a known and trusted manufacturer. Sometimes it is better to go with a "Name" rather than an unknown provider. It has a "quality" feel to it and should last and last. The staff at Argos were as good as we could have hoped for. and the whole buying process went very smoothly. At this price it is good value for money and the "out of town" location with ample free parking and proximity to a range of other retailers makes ARGOS the perfect shop.

Hello Dolly,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Kenwood KN650A Electric Knife - White: The user manual states: 'Never attempt to slice bones, food containing stones or seeds, food in wrappers such as aluminium foil or plastic film, or other hard food'.
As I would class raw swede as hard food, I wouldn't say this is suitable based on the above.
Hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q & A.
Have not tried it but I would think the swede would be too hard for this blade
