About this product
The Silentnight Lilith Double Fabric Bed Frame gives you a supportive place to settle in at the end of the day. There's a padded upholstered frame with a tall winged headboard that's useful for sitting up while you read or relax. The herringbone woven fabric feels soft against your skin and stands up to everyday bedroom use. It sleeps two adults comfortably, with wooden slats underneath that support the mattress and keep air circulating. Wooden feet lift the frame off the floor, so you can hoover beneath without bending down.
The side rails adjust to fit deep or shallow mattresses, which means you can change your mattress later without needing a new bed frame. The slatted base spreads weight evenly and prevents moisture from building up. It's handcrafted in the UK and arrives flat-packed, two people recommended for assembly, all fixings included. The stone grey finish works with most bedroom colours. Supports up to 220kg total user weight. Five year parts and labour guarantee included.
Adjustable side rails can be rotated to accommodate a deep or shallow mattresses. Whilst the wooden slatted base provides excellent mattress support and airflow.

Not perfect
The bed feels strong and the external finish is good. There are a number of points to note. The parts of the bed on the inside and to the rear of the headboard are covered in a white coloured material and I can see this potentially become dirty very easily. I would have expected a black coloured material to be more of an appropriate covering which may not be prone to show any marks as easy. The reversible side rails are a very good idea as there can be used to take a shallow or deep mattress. Although the bed purchased was a double, the double mattress fits very snuggly into the frame. I was disappointed with the finishing on the internal side of one the side rails as the cotton material was not stapled tightly and the staples have effectively gone through the material creating staple size holes in the material. This will clearly become worse as the bed sheets are tucked in / out and I can see this becoming a problem later on. The material used is quite thin and I would have expected a more resilient to be used. The bed has a good guarantee. The bed also has flat pieces of wood for the base which is a first for the bed frames we have previously purchased. Previous beds frames have had slightly curved ribs on the base which give some flex. I would advise anyone looking at the bed frame to look at the assembly instructions video on the Silentnight website before making a purchase. This gives a full view of the bed in terms of the content of each of the three packs it arrived in. It shows slats provided for the for the base and the colour of the cotton material used on the inner bed. For the price with the Argos code used, it is a fair price for the quality of the bed.

Very well designed
I'm more than happy with my bed , the build quality is fantastic and beyond my expectations. I'm very impressed with the thought that's gone into the sizing of the frame , allowing my duvet to tuck in tight , giving me a nice taught bed to come home to after a hard day's work. Excellent 👌
