Great smart plug easy to set up and use
Have used smart plugs for many years - but this is the first time I have selected the Tapo plug. Impressed that this much smaller and more regular plug size. Easy to set up with the app and also easily linked to my Alexa. Glad I got a box of 4 as I have more uses in mind. Recommend to anyone considering getting a smart plugs. Good price too.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the TP-Link Tapo P110 Smart Wi-Fi Plug Energy Monitoring 4 Pack: ''We cannot guarantee this will work with third party app to manage the Tapo smart plug. You might have to give it a try and update us accordingly if it works or best contact the Lutron team for further information if our plugs can be used.''

No, the Kasa app is not compatible with Tapo devices, but the latest Tapo app now supports almost all Kasa devices except for the KE100 (thermostatic valve).

So far, Tapo WiFi smart devices support 2.4GHz WiFi in IEEE 802.11b/g/n. 5GHz WiFi is not supported.
