The JBL Authentic 200 brings retro 70s style and proper room-filling sound together in one seriously handsome wireless speaker. With its Quadrex grille, leather-like finish, and aluminium frame, it's got that vintage JBL look, but inside you'll find stereo sound courtesy of dual tweeters, a woofer, and a downfiring passive radiator that delivers bass with real depth. At 100W output, it's built for living rooms or bedrooms where you want big, balanced audio whether you're streaming jazz, rock or podcasts, and it works with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, AirPlay, Chromecast and Spotify Connect.
Both Alexa and Google Assistant are built in simultaneously, so you can control music, check the weather, or manage smart home devices hands-free using whichever assistant you prefer. The built-in battery gives you 8 hours of playtime, and there's a carry handle moulded in, so you can move it from room to room or take it outside without fuss. Setup's done through the JBL app over Wi-Fi, which also means you get automatic software updates, and there's an AUX input if you want to plug in directly. It comes with a rechargeable battery included and a 2-year guarantee.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding sound – fills the room effortles
I recently bought the JBL Authentics 200 and I’m genuinely blown away by it. The biggest thing for me is how well it fills a large space. This isn’t just “loud near the speaker” sound – the bass and presence carry across the whole room. I listen to a lot of hip-hop, R&B, reggae and house, and the low-end is deep, punchy and controlled, without being boomy or muddy. What really impressed me is how good it sounds at sensible volumes. You don’t need to crank it for it to feel full and satisfying, which makes it perfect for a kitchen or open-plan space. Compared to smaller Bluetooth speakers I’ve owned (which are loud but don’t project), this feels like a completely different class. Setup was painless, AirPlay works flawlessly with Apple Music, and the build quality feels premium. It looks great on a countertop and feels like it’s been designed to actually live in a home, not just be moved around occasionally. Honestly, this is one of those purchases where you press play and immediately think: “Yep — this is exactly what I wanted.” Highly recommended if you want proper room-filling sound without the hassle of a full hi-fi system.

Don't Buy JBL Authentics 500 200 WiFi Speakers
JBL Authentics 500 and 200 speakers let's start with positive they look absolutely awesome and the sound is absolutely awesome now the negative linking them is absolutely awesome nightmare with Goole Home ie casting also Spotify Goole home keeps saying speakers are offline which is crazy as they are connected on the app so the voice assistance doesn't work. I do not recommend this at all. It's a great shame. They should have tested this cropley. Before sending them out to the public, it's a great shame as the speakers are absolutely beautiful to look at. Let's hopefully they sort this problem out as soon as possible.

Amazing stylish speaker
We have this for a while now and we loved. The sound is amazing, speaker seats on 8 small rubbers 2 each corner, they are helping to cancel vibration so compare to other speaker you don’t need to look space with nothing close to it if you want to use it with high volume bass. Retro design is probably not for everyone but for our place is fantastic we like antics and with this you have mix of technology fitted in to retro box. Of course is smart speaker so you can use Alexa, google and all you actually needs from speaker. Great job JBL

Additionally, the battery of our Authentics 300 is not user-replaceable, but if there's an issue, you can work with our authorized service center to safely replace it when needed.
