How long does gradual tanner take to develop?

You will start to see the golden glow anywhere from 1 to 4 hours, depending on the product you’ve used and your skin type. Usually, gradual tanners continue to develop natural-looking tan over the next 8 to 10 hours and can darken during the next 3 to 5 days after several applications. How do you apply self tan?

Then, apply the self-tan in sweeping motions using a tanning mitt—start from your feet and work your way up. Let it dry completely and avoid showering or sweating from the first few hours. It’s best to wait overnight, so the tan can develop. Take a warm shower to rinse off the excess product and moisturise after patting yourself dry.
