Support our Ukrainian Crisis Appeal.

We have seen an overwhelming response to our Ukrainian Crisis Appeal with Comic Relief, with over £500k of Nectar points donated by customers, bringing our total donation, to over £2.5m. 


Your donations have already made a huge difference towards the immediate and urgent needs of people in crisis, by providing essential services such as water, food and medical support. Donations will also be used to meet the longer-term needs of people still in Ukraine, crossing borders or seeking safety in the UK.  


You can continue to support those in need by donating online, at till when shopping in-store or online and you can also donate points through our charity platform Nectar Donate. For every customer donation made in-store, online and through Nectar Donate, we will match funds up to the value of £500k.

    All donations will be made to Comic Relief, which is the operating name of Charity Projects, registered charity in England & Wales (326568) and Scotland (SC039730). Sainsbury’s will be matching all donations up to the value of £500k from 25/03/22 – 22/04/22. If the total amount of donations does not reach £500k, Sainsbury’s may at its discretion choose to make a separate contribution to the charity.
