Stylish storage boxes

Choose a storage box for smaller spots– they’re surprisingly spacious without taking up too much of your garden.

Alternatively, go multi-functional with a storage bench. Perfect for tucking away smaller items, and can be stylishly used as an extra seat. Pick between different colours, styles and materials to match your garden décor.

Store away in sheds

A traditional choice for bulky garden items like chairs, lawnmowers and garden tools. They’re available in multiple sizes and materials, including metal or plastic - so there really is a shed to suit any outdoor space.

You can decorate them too…with paint, solar lighting or faux foliage, so they become more of a decorative focal point, than just garden storage.

Other shed essentials

Painting a shed

Most sheds need protecting against weather damage. For wooden sheds, use wood treatment for a natural look, or choose exterior paint for a splash of colour. You may need to treat your wooden sheds annually to maintain the protection and keep your warranty valid.

A padlock on a shed.

Shed security

If you plan to store expensive tools and garden equipment inside your shed, it's best to secure it with an appropriate lock. Some sheds come with integral locking systems for extra security, while others require the use of a padlock or similar locking device.

Other outdoor storage

Looking for something a bit more creative? Or perhaps you don’t have the space for a shed? No worries, there are lots of alternative (and creative) ways to tidy up.

Keter Premier Tall 1400L high storage cupboard.

Stack it up

With more of us using a log burner for those cosy winter months, it’s a great idea to stock up with fuel throughout the year. Dry wood is better for burning, so keep it neatly stacked until you need it.

Showcase on shelves

If you do have a shed or storage box, easily pop in some free-standing shelves for extra space. Or look for weatherproof materials such as wood or metal, and make a feature outside of your decorative accessories.

Bike sheds, covers and locks

A shed is a great option if you want to keep your bike protected from bad weather. For smaller spaces, stand your bike on its end with a bike rack and pop on a bike cover. Also, if you store your bike outside or in a shed, make sure it’s secure with a padlock or a combination lock.
