The Vango Skye Air 500 is a 5-man tunnel tent which provides a fantastic space to weight ratio. Using the Airbeam AirSpeed System the Skye can be easily pitched in a matter of minutes. The tent uses Vango's highly waterproof Sentinel Active fabric and includes great features such as a linked-in groundsheet for easy cleaning, inner tent pockets for storage and lantern loops. The 70 denier polyester flysheet, at 3000mm HH, is highly waterproof, durable and lightweight. All seams on the flysheet and groundsheet are factory taped, giving a waterproof seal.
The Vango Tension Band System ensures the tent performs in adverse conditions, especially in strong, changeable winds. When tensioned, the bands brace the pole at 3 points and reduce sideways movement. The TBS bands can be stowed away in calm weather.
The Vango Lights-Out inner fabric helps block out the early morning light. It is also highly breathable to allow condensation to pass through for a comfortable night's sleep.
