How do I use Argos.co.uk?

How can I pay for my purchases?
You can pay for your purchases online using most major credit or debit cards, including Mastercard, Visa Credit Card, Visa Debit Card, Switch, Solo, American Express, Style, your Argos Card or your Argos Personal Account Card. We do not accept Electron cards. Your credit card details will be encrypted to help keep them secure. See Security for more information.

Can I reserve products and pick them up in my favourite store?

Can I order for home delivery and make a reservation at the same time?
Yes. Once you have found the products you are looking for and have added them to your trolley, you can then decide if you would like to have them delivered or if you would like to reserve them and pick them up at a store of your choice. You can even choose for some to be delivered and for some to be reserved for you in one single transaction. It’s up to you!

How do I know if my order has been received?
Upon receipt of your order, an Order Acknowledgement screen will be generated, issuing an order reference number. Please print out this page for future reference. You will also receive an email confirming that we have received your order details.

When will my order be delivered?
Most goods are delivered by White Arrow, usually within 48 hours (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays) from when you place your order. Deliveries are made between 8am and 6pm and we will need a signature at the time of delivery. Next day and Saturday delivery may also be available, depending on the time of order and the delivery address. Saturday deliveries are made between 8am and 4pm.

Adult bikes and large screen TVs are usually delivered within 7 working days (not including weekends). We are unable to book a specific delivery date or timeslot at the time of order but we will contact you to confirm a delivery date.

Larger items are usually delivered 14 days from receipt of order. We aim to deliver washing machines and other large kitchen appliances within 10 days. Again, we will contact you to confirm a delivery date.

Can I specify a delivery date?
Yes, for most items. If you have a preferred delivery date, please select it when placing your order. Someone will need to be present at the time of delivery to sign for the items. You can specify a delivery address different from your home or main contact address, if more convenient.

Are receipts sent with deliveries?
The receipt is the address label on the parcel. You will need this in case you wish to return goods. Some customers have requested a more traditional receipt with their delivery and we are working on providing this as soon as possible.

How can I get a V.A.T receipt?
We can only send you a V.A.T receipt once the 16-day money back guarantee for the product(s) you have purchased has expired. In order to receive such a receipt, please email us at order.enquiries@argos.co.uk at least 16 days after receiving your product(s), including your order number. We will be more than happy to deal with your request.

Can I place an order from overseas?
Yes. Customers from abroad can both register and place an order, as long as the order is for delivery in the UK and Northern Ireland (excluding BFPO addresses).

Does Argos deliver overseas?
Unfortunately not. We deliver to mainland UK and Northern Ireland only (excluding BFPO addresses). Please see Home delivery information for more details.

Are my details secure?
Shopping on Argos.co.uk is as secure as shopping in any store. Your credit card details will be encrypted to help keep them secure. See Security for more details.

How can I access a wedding list?
Our wedding list service is not currently available online. The bride and groom will have been sent copies of their list to give to friends and relatives. Alternatively, you can get an up-to-date list from any Argos store.

How can I get an Argos catalogue?
You can pick up catalogues at your nearest Argos store. You can also view most Argos products on this website. Please note that we do not offer a catalogue mailing facility.

Can I redeem Premier Points on this website?
Premier Points cannot be redeemed on this website at present. However, if you make a purchase online using your Argos Card, you can collect Premier Points on your card and redeem them at any Argos store.

Can I order from two or more Argos sites at once?
Unfortunately not. Any orders you wish to place on argos.co.uk, argos-entertainment.co.uk or argoswine.co.uk must be placed separately.

Will this site work on my browser?
You should be able to access this website using any browser but the user experience provided may be of a better standard if using one of the following browser versions:
